I really liked this episode too. People who are hating Pi because he doesn’t believe Mork, remember he has been bullied and betrayed all his life.
So him not trusting the man “who is trying to tear him and his precious Nam apart” is completely understable. In the preview Mork uses the flower metaphor with Pi telling that what he feels for Nam is an obsession and not real love.
